Terre Steinbeck of Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North began her career in the demanding, fast paced field of Entertainment at Paramount Pictures. Excelling in the creative & marketing area where uniqueness, spontaneity, out-of-the-box campaigns, deadlines and speed are critical to job-security, Terre moved up the ranks, being hired by the likes of Jerry Bruckheimer and Robert Evans.Looking to be her own boss, Terre Steinbeck received her real estate license in 1992 when the local market was in an historical recession, putting people and businesses in dire straights. Homes were not selling, but Terre devised campaigns to bring Buyers from the expensive Westside of Los Angeles to Agoura Hills where prices were lower and schools were fabulous. As one client describes, “Terre knows how to find a market, even if it doesn’t exist”.
Originally specializing in equestrian properties near her own ranch in Old Agoura, her energy level and professionalism developed from her previous career helped her tremendously in garnering a position quickly as a “top Producing agent”. Discretion in locating specialized properties for discriminating and notable Buyers became a signature for her in the local area and nearby Malibu. Her success comes from the work ethic she was raised with by an entrepreneurial father and diligent mother who believed in good, old-fashioned honesty and hard work. Her tireless energy and boundless stamina make her love of the real estate field obvious and crystal clear.

When someone hugs me and tells me I found their ‘dream home’….. or that I sold their home quickly….. or for more money than they thought, I feel on top of the world!!!!”, Terre has been known to say to her colleagues.
In addition to her many company awards, Terre is licensed in the State of Florida where requirements are fierce. Mandatory training includes real estate law, appraisal and mortgage classes and corresponding degrees. It takes months, not weeks to acquire the license and this knowledge gives Terre an edge in negotiating deals and protecting her client’s rights.
Different real estate awards enjoyed by Terre Steinbeck include “Most Unique Marketing of a listing” when she hired In ‘n Out Burger to cater the Broker lunch, “fasted escrow”… (two days) “and the coveted, “Galloping Gourmet Award” for the “Best Broker Open”.
She was also recently honored with the cover of “Broker/Agent” magazine, one of the industry’s top trade magazines.
Ms. Steinbeck lives in West Hollywood with her son, Alex, when he visits from College. She is a member of the Coldwell Banker President’s Elite (comprised of the top 1% of agents in the country!!), Combined Los Angeles/Westside Association of Realtors, Conejo Valley Assn. of Realtors, National Assn. of Realtors and Malibu Board of Realtors. She has also earned a specialized degree in marketing and advertising and is a marketing instructor for Coldwell Banker. She was raised in Brentwood and Malibu where her immediate family currently lives.
